Code of Ethics

iSoHealthy Code of Ethics

At iSoHealthy, ethical business practices in accordance to our faith are the cornerstone of our success. We strive to uphold the highest standards of moral integrity in all our interactions with our customers, employees, and stakeholders. Our Code of Ethics is a reflection of our commitment to transparency, honesty, and respect, and serves as a guide for all our business practices.

Below is a list of our Code of Ethics

Code of Ethics: Marketing-wise

“Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body (Ephesians 4:25).”

Price slashing can be a powerful marketing tactic to attract customers, but it’s important to be aware of the motives behind it. When a product is advertised as “WAS $40 NOW $25,” it creates the illusion of a significant discount, even though the product was only ever intended to be sold for $25! This is a dishonest marketing tactic, as it uses false pretenses to make the customer believe they are getting a better deal than they actually are. On the other hand, if the product was genuinely priced at $40 from the beginning, and the company is now discounting it to sell it quicker, this can be a legitimate business practice. However, it’s important for the company to have a sincere and ethical motive for doing so. For example, they may need to clear out inventory to make room for new products, or they may want to reward loyal customers with a special discount. At our company, we believe in transparency and honesty in all our pricing tactics. We never use false pretenses or misleading advertising to trick our customers into paying more than they should. When we offer a discount, you can trust that it’s a genuine and sincere offer, made for the right reasons.

“Free Shipping” is a popular marketing tactic that can entice customers to make a purchase. However, it’s important to be aware that not all “Free Shipping” offers are created equal. In many cases, the price of the product is marked up to include the cost of shipping, which means that the customer is still paying for shipping, but it’s just hidden in the price. By using the term “Free Shipping,” companies can create the illusion of being generous and customer-friendly, even though the customer is ultimately paying for shipping. The true meaning of “Free Shipping” is when the company covers the cost of shipping out of their own profits, which is a genuine show of generosity to the customer. At iSoHealthy, we believe in transparency and honesty in all our marketing tactics. We never use deceptive terms like “Free Shipping” to convey “shipping included in price” or otherwise to mislead our customers.  We believe that our customers deserve the truth, and that’s what we deliver.

Companies know that product reviews drive sales up and are willing to use gimmicks, greed-tactics. At iSoHealthy, we believe in genuine, authentic reviews that reflect the true value of our products. We do not engage in shady practices such as hiring marketing firms to generate reviews for us and we do not use artifically generated testimonials! The practice of incentivizing reviews with free products or contests can lead to dishonest and ingenuine reviews that compromise the integrity of the product and the business. We do not organize contests or competitions to solicit “best product review of the month” or similar titles, this ensures that reviews are not influenced by the desire for recognition or rewards. We recognize the potential for distortion and manipulation in the pursuit of financial success through product reviews and are dedicated to upholding the highest standards. We believe reviews should stem from actual experiences, free from any external influence. We encourage genuine engagement with our products and brand. Customers are welcome to share their experiences, opinions, and suggestions without any expectation of compensation or rewards.

The “buy one, donate one” marketing tactic, as in, the customer buys one and the company donates one (making the company appear like a hero), can be a powerful tool to attract customers to a particular store or company. However, it’s important to be aware that this tactic may not always be as altruistic as it seems. In many cases, the price of the product is marked up to cover the cost of the donated product, meaning that the customer is actually paying for both products. While this marketing strategy may persuade customers to shop at a particular store over others, it’s important to question the motives behind the “charitable” deal. Is the company in it for self-gain, such as fame and fortune? Is the consumer being conned to support a company that appears to be a “Good Samaritan” but is actually more focused on their own interests of becoming a giant in the industry via power and domination. We believe in the power of genuine charitable giving that positively impacts communities and individuals in need — the donation truly comes from our profits. We will never artificially inflate prices to mask the cost of the donated product.

Promotional activities and discounts will be conducted with genuine intentions. We will not use false urgency or scarcity tactics to pressure customers into making decisions (forcing our will onto others) for a sale. We believe that this type of marketing is not only dishonest, but it is also disrespectful to our customers’ intelligence and autonomy. Our promotions will provide real value and benefits to customers’ well-being. We believe that by conducting our promotional activities and discounts with genuine intentions, we can build a reputation as a trusted and respected business that puts its customers first.
